Blue Skies holds regularly scheduled ground school courses for the Private Pilot and Instrument Pilot. The Private is 12 weeks long and meet one night a week. The Instrument is usually a 3 day weekend course.
INSTRUMENT RATING WRITTEN TEST GROUND SCHOOL CLASS
A 3 day compressed class for the IFR written will be held Febuary
17th, 18th, and 19th, 2012. The classes will be as follows:
Feb 17th, Friday 2pm to 7pm
Feb 18th + 19th, Saturday/Sunday 9am to 6pm. You will need the Gleim Instrument Pilot Knowledge Test Guide, an E6B Computer.

PRIVATE PILOT RATING WRITTEN TEST GROUND SCHOOL CLASS
Classes begin Tuesday, March 6th, 2012 at 7pm at the Blue Skies Pilot Shop classroom. This class will meet every Tuesday from 7pm for 12 weeks. You will need the Gleim Private Pilot FAA Knowledge Test Guide, an E6B Computer and Navigational Plotter.

This includes the use of the test prep software any time the Pilot Shop is open. You can take practice tests as often as you like until you are ready for the real thing!!
Blue Skies also provides 2 computer stations with the Gleim software for the students to take practice tests. These are included in the course fee and can be used any time the Pilot Shop is open.
