I have been flying for around 20 years and instructing full time for around 10 years. My total flight time is close to 5000 hours with over 4000 hours of flight instruction given. I have an excellent pass rate with my students for both primary and advanced ratings. I keep up with the latest changes to be sure that you are trained to the current standards. I focus on training my students to become the best pilots they can be and make sure that they have the knowledge and aeronautical decision making skills to handle things in a safe and effective manner. When you are finished training with me, you will be more than prepared to pass your check-ride quickly and easily. I take flying seriously and will work you hard, but I will make it fun for you too. I want you to enjoy it as much as I do. I am an Instrument rated Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor in both Single engine and Multi engine planes. I have flying experience as a charter and corporate pilot. I also have experience in today’s most popular avionics, such as Garmin 430 and 530, Garmin G1000 and Avidyne Primary and Multi Function displays. I have experience in pressurized turbo-prop planes certified for known ice with boots and a Cessna Grand Caravan with the new TKS known ice system. Some of the small planes I’ve flown are Cirrus, Cougar, Sierra, Mooney, Arrow, Saratoga, Cherokee 6, Warrior, C172, C182, Archer and more. I’m available to help you get your license, advanced rating, complex sign off or a checkout in any of our planes as well as a Flight Review, IFR Proficiency Check or to help you with any weak areas. If you’d like to fly something a little nicer with more complex systems, I’d suggest that you get checked out in our Arrow or our Archer, which are awesome! They’re my favorite planes at Blue Skies.
