PIPER's GOLDEN AGE includes the particulars of the original Taylor Brothers Aircraft Corporation, Rochester, New York, in the late 1920s, of C.G. Taylor (the father of the lightplane) and his brother, Gordon Taylor, and the untimely death of Gordon while demonstrating one of the Taylor planes. Book details the move of the Taylor Brothers Aircraft Corporation to Bradford, Pennsylvania, and includes information of how William T. Piper and C.G. Taylor got together, the bankruptcy of the company during the Depression, and the ultimate breakup and split of Taylor and Piper.
